"Your Deeds will Determine Your Acceptability"---Apostle Adeniji Urges Christians Worldwide to Emulate Jesus Christ.

The General Overseer of God Is Able Covenant Mission Incorporated, Ita-Oshin, Abeokuta, Apostle Peter Olujide Adeniji, has issued a stirring call to Christians across the globe: emulate the life and deeds of Jesus Christ, for it is only through such Godly conduct that believers will be recognized, honored, and celebrated both on earth and in eternity.

Delivering the charge during his powerful Easter Sunday message at the Rehoboth Ground of the church campground in Idi-Igba, Mango, the respected cleric reminded the congregation that the entire redemptive journey of Jesus—from His miraculous birth, through His crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension—was celebrated precisely because of His flawless deeds. “As it is written, ‘Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven’ (Matthew 5:16),” 

Apostle Adeniji declared. 

He noted that even the global observance of Boxing Day is a direct tribute to the birth of Jesus Christ, received as heaven’s priceless gift to mankind.

The man of God pointed out that Jesus was first publicly celebrated on Palm Sunday, hailed by multitudes as the Saviour of the world. Yet Scripture records no instance where Jesus demanded celebration. 

“It was the undeniable weight of His good deeds that moved hearts to worship Him,” Apostle Adeniji explained. 

He therefore charged every believer: continue in well-doing so that you too may be celebrated and honored in your generation. 

“What are your deeds today?” he asked pointedly. “Jesus Christ is still being celebrated 2,026 years later by governments, nobles, the rich and poor alike—even the Islamic world acknowledges the worth of His life. 

How many people celebrate you on your birthday anniversary? It is because of your deeds.”

Apostle Adeniji stressed that certain attitudes found in the life of Jesus that must be found among His followers. 

“No one ever saw Jesus fighting,” he said. “Though molested and ridiculed, He remained calm and extended hands of love and fellowship even to His enemies.” 

This mirrors the Lord’s own command: “But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you” (Matthew 5:44). 

He extolled the matchless humility of Christ, urging Christians to exhibit the same character in all dealings. “In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant” (Philippians 2:5-7).

 Apostle Adeniji further admonished believers to see every human being as precious in the sight of God, just as Jesus did. “Jesus Christ sees everyone as very much important; stop seeing others as not valuable,” he said. 

He challenged the church to ask soul-searching questions: What can your life offer others as gifts? What can your deeds offer to humanity and even to yourself? “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms” (1 Peter 4:10).

Apostle Adeniji cautioned against usurping other peoples' positions or pulling others down in the pursuit of destiny. 

“Be contented with your position,” he advised. “If it is your destiny to get there, you will surely get there without pulling people down.” 

This aligns with the apostolic teaching: “I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances… I can do all this through him who gives me strength” (Philippians 4:11, 13).

Concluding with unshakeable faith, the man of God reminded Christians that Jesus never spoke of impossibility nor uttered blasphemy against others. 

“Believers must therefore possess this same unshakeable faith, believing nothing is impossible with God,” he declared. 

“Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible’” (Matthew 19:26).

Apostle Peter Olujide Adeniji’s Easter message has left a clarion call echoing across the body of Christ: let your deeds reflect the character of Jesus, that your life may bring glory to God and earn eternal celebration.
