The Executive Chairman of Ewekoro Local Government, Hon. ADESINA Sikiru Adisa, heartily congratulates the Muslim faithful across Ewekoro Local Government and beyond on the commencement of the sacred month of Ramadan. He describes this holy month as a divine opportunity for spiritual renewal, self-discipline, sacrifice, and unwavering devotion to Almighty Allah.
Hon. Adesina notes that Ramadan is a sacred period ordained by Allah (SWT) for fasting, prayer, charity, and reflection, reminding the faithful of the virtues of patience, humility, and compassion toward one another. He urges Muslims to seize this blessed season to strengthen their faith and uphold the teachings of the Holy Qur’an.
The Chairman emphasizes that Ramadan is not only a time for abstinence from food and drink but also a period for moral purification, forgiveness, and peaceful coexistence.
