The 7th Legislative Council of Ewekoro Local Government has extended a warm congratulation to Comrade Akiode Fatai Feyisayo, Recorder of the House, on his election as the State Deputy President of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Ogun State Chapter.
In a special ceremony held at the Legislative Chamber of the Council in Itori, the Leader of the House, Hon. Abiola Muheeb Kehinde, presented a congratulatory letter to Comrade Akiode, describing him as a dedicated, skilled, and committed unionist, whose triumph is a testament to his leadership abilities and dedication to the welfare of local government employees.
Meanwhile, in his earlier speech, the leader of the house said , "We celebrate Comrade Akiode's victory and pledge our support in his new role. We are confident that his leadership will further strengthen NULGE's mission to protect and promote the welfare of Local Government employees in Ogun State "
The Legislative Council wished Comrade Akiode a successful tenure and looking forward to working with him to advance the interest of our Local Government and the people of Ogun State.
In his reaction, the highly elated Comrade Akiode said, "I am overwhelmed with joy and gratitude as I stand before you today to express my heartfelt appreciation to the Leader of the House, Hon. Abiola Muheeb Kehinde, and the entire members of the 7th Legislative Council of Ewekoro Local Government for the congratulatory letter presented to me on my election as the State Deputy President of NULGE, Ogun State Chapter."
"Your kind words and gestures mean a lot to me, and I am humbled by the recognition. I assure you that I will continue to work tirelessly to promote the welfare of Local Government employees and advance the interests of our beloved state."

The colorful ceremony had in attendance, other Honourable Members, the Clerk of the Legislative House, Mrs Folorunsho M.O.S and other invited guests.
