HON.BALOGUN , ABEOKUTA SOUTH LG BOSS APPLAUDED BY DIGNITARIES OVER 100 DAYS IN OFFICE ACHIEVEMENTS

...... Flags off Health Insurance Scheme, uncovers Initiative for Welfarism Insurance Security and Health Programmes.

It was commendation galore for the Executive Chairman Of Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon.Afeez Olaniyi Balogun by sons and daughters of the council area over the tremendous achievements of Hon Balogun within 100 Days in office.

In a separate remarks at the commemorative event to celebrate the 100 Days in office, held at the Local Government Secretariat, Ake , Abeokuta, the Hon.Commissioner for Rural Development, Mrs Olufemi Ilori Oduntan, former Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon.Titi Oseni and former Local Government Chairman, Alhaji Tajudeen Lemboye applauded the Council Chairman for all the strides taken so far since his assumption of office and agenda profile laid out by him.

The Council helmsman, while flagging off programmes to commemorate 100 Days in office which included Health Insurance Scheme for a thousand vulnerables, widows and aged within the Local Government Area as well as uncovering Initiative for Welfare Insurance Security, distribution of solar lights to the Community Development Association and Health Programmes.( I.W.I.S.H Agenda) , he explained that the self- initiative is aimed at providing modern health facilities, insurance, security and better Welfarism for the people of Abeokuta South Local Government.

Hon. Balogun seized the opportunity to appreciate the State Governor, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun , CON for all the developmental programmes initiated by him in the Local Government Areas to ensure even distribution of projects in the 3 senatorial districts of the State. 

Speaking earlier during his opening remarks, the Head of Local Government Administration, Mr. Rufus Alani Olaleye welcomed all to the epoch making event, and explained that Hon.Balogun's led administration is one that is committed to all sundry and dedicated to the even distribution of the dividends of democracy. 

Mr.Nurudeen Popoola a beneficiary of the Health Insurance Scheme on behalf of others appreciated the Chairman for the wonderful initiative and kind gesture for taking care of the health of a thousand Vulnerables, Widows and Elderly across the Local Government Area. He prayed for success of the administration. 

The Vice Chairman, Mrs.Esther Oluranti Ogunmokun while giving the vote of thanks on behalf of the administration, appreciated the Party Stalwarts, Members of the Legislative Council, Career Officers and all sundry for their time and support. 

She implored the beneficiaries to ensure the use of the cards at designated hospitals to access free health care.
