The Executive Chairman, Ifo Local Government, Hon. Idris Kusimo, has charged members of the Amotekun Corps to discharge their duties diligently and professionally.
Hon. Kusimo gave this charge when the Corps Commandant/Coordinator, in the Council Area, Mr. Emmanuel Akinyemi, led the newly recruited officers to the council secretariat for a courtesy visit to the Chairman on Monday 27th January, 2025.
The Chairman emphasized the critical role the Amotekun Corps plays in maintaining peace and security within the Local Government. He urged the officers to remain committed to their oath of office and to uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in the discharge of their duties.
As the Chief Security Officer of the Local Government, Hon. Kusimo assured the officers of the full support of his administration in their efforts to combat crime and ensure the safety of residents. He thereafter prayed for God's guidance and protection during the discharge of their duties.
In His response, the Corps Commandant, Mr. Emmanuel Akinyemi thanked the Chairman for attending to them despite his tight schedule and pray that God will continue to work with him always. He stated that the Corps was ready to give their best in the discharge of their duties.
Present at the event were, the Deputy Coordinator, Mrs. Hammed Adenike, the Administrative Officer, Mr. Dotun Omotunde, the Head of Investigative Department, Mrs. Olaniyi Bukola, the Divisional Officers of Agbado Division, Edeipo Oluwatosin, Ibaragun Division, Mrs. Hammed Adenike and Ibogun Division, Mr. Raheem Rasaq among others.
