HON .ADESINA ADVISES TRADERS AT OBADA-OKO MARKET TO DESIST FROM TRADING UNDER HIGH VOLTAGE CABLE

Market men and women at Obada-Oko , ward 10 of the council area have been advised to stay clear of trading under the high tension cable to avoid unnecessary risk to their lives and properties.

The Executive Chairman Of Ewekoro Local Government, Hon. Adesina Sikiru Adisa gave the advice during his unscheduled visit to Obada-Oko market .

He emphasized that it was uncalled for and a bad habit to trade under such condition in their bid to display their wares near the road , with the belief that buyers would be able to notice them easily, therefore, throwing caution into the air and exposing themselves to unnecessary risk.

The Council helmsman, therefore, assured them of speedy  provision of infrastructural projects that would allow them to trade in a decent environment.

" When we are through with these infrastructural projects, it will improve your economic status and also boost the council's Internally Generated Revenue",--the Chairman added.

He also pledged that he would ensure that the market remains peaceful and rancour free.

The highly delighted traders, seized the opportunity to congratulate the Executive Chairman, on his re-election as the Chairman of Ewekoro Local Government.

" Your re-election is a testament to your first term achievements with laudable projects that cut across the 10 wards of the council area. We hope you will not rest on your oars ."

On the entourage of the Chairman were the Vice Chairman, Alhaja Abisola Nurat Aliyu, Head Of Local Government Administration, Mrs Solomon Elizabeth A, Director Of Finance and Supply, Alhaja Taiwo Basirat and other principal officers of the Local Government .
