HON . ADESINA CHARGES THE NEWLY INAUGURATED 7TH LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL MEMBERS TO MAKE USE OF THE OPPORTUNITY FOR DEVELOPMENT OF HUMANITY

The Executive Chairman Of Ewekoro Local Government, Hon . Adesina Sikiru Adisa has charged members of the 7th Legislative council of Ewekoro Local Government to make good use of the great opportunity for the good welfare of the council people and development of humanity.

The Executive Chairman gave the charge during the inauguration of the 7th Legislative Council members, held at the Legislative Chamber, in the Local Government Secretariat, Itori.
While joyfully welcoming all the newly elected councillors to the Local Government, the Council boss explained that they were not new to the terrain, saying, " You have served at one time or the other in this capacity as Honourable members of the Legislative Council. Your re-election to this house has further elucidated your good impacts to better the life of citizens of Ewekoro Local Government at your respective wards and this has earned you another good turn to consolidate your efforts so far ."
The Council helmsman, seized the opportunity to express his profound gratitude to the Ogun State Governor, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, on the conduct of free and fair in the recently concluded Local Government Elections that ushered him and other distinguished political functionaries to various positions in Ogun State.

" His vision and mission to make the Local Governments and Ogun State in entirety to greater height is immeasurable,"-- the Chairman added.

He reaffirmed Gov.Abiodun's efforts to ensure that the dividends of democracy is extended to the people at the grassroots, while promising to always support the programmes and policies of the Ogun State Governor to take Ogun State to the state of eldorado.
At the first legislative plenary session of the 7th Legislative Council, the clerk of the house, Mr. Abiti Lookman administered the oath of office and allegiance on the elected councillors.
Thereafter, elections of principal officers of the 7th Legislative Council were conducted with Hon. Abiola Muib Kehinde, emerging as the leader of the house, for the second time consecutively, Hon Anisere Wasiu Adekunle, becoming the deputy leader, while Hon.Adekunle B. Abiodun was elected as majority leader and Hon Falabi Samuel became the chief whip for the second time in quick sessions, having been the chief whip in the 6th legislative council.
In his acceptance speech, the leader of the 7th Legislative Council, Hon.Abiola Muib Kehinde, gave glory and adorations to Almighty God for the opportunity to be among the noble Legislative Members after the successful Local Government Elections.

" I also give thanks to the Ogun State Governor, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, who ensured the conduct of a successful and hitch free electioneering process at the grassroots in Ogun State."

According to the leader of the house, " Today marks another important occasion in which the Executive Chairman, Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa sworn-in the members of the 7th Legislative Council and proclaimed us to start Legislative function in accordance with the Ogun State Local Government Law and Nigeria (1999 constitution as amended).
Hon. Abiola, therefore , appreciated God in the life of the Executive Chairman for being the first Chairman to have such opportunity in the history of the Local Government to perform the function of proclamation on two occasions , consecutively, having been re-elected for the second term as the Executive Chairman Of Ewekoro Local Government.
He assured the Chairman that the Legislative Council would not relent to ensure the success of his administration in delivering dividends of democracy to the people of Ewekoro Local Government, while, equally, on behalf of  himself and other newly inaugurated honorable councillors, assured the party stalwarts, party faithful, the people of the council area and career officers that they will enact bye-laws that will improve and benefits the people of the council.
" I am also soliciting your support and cooperation to the new administration of Hon. Adesina Sikiru Adisa, most especially in this period of Local Government autonomy. I hope and pray its bring us the expected joy we have been yearning for,"---Hon Abiola stated.
The event had in attendance, the Vice Chairman, Alhaja Abisola Aliyu, Party  stalwarts, Party loyalists, Royal fathers , Head Of Local Government Administration, Mrs Solomon Elizabeth and Directors/Heads Of department amongst other dignitaries.
