EWEKORO LG: HON ADESINA ASSUMES OFFICE FOR THE SECOND TERM AMIDST JUBILATION

......As Gov. Abiodun swears-in 20 Local Government Chairmen and Vice Chairmen, charges them on transparency and integrity in the management of funds.

It was jubilation galore at the Ewekoro Local Government Headquarters, Itori, as Hon. Adesina Sikiru Adisa, the newly sworn-in Chairman Of Ewekoro Local Government,assumed office in Grand style as the enthusiastic party stalwarts, party faithful, loyalists and members of staff gathered to give a rousing welcome with the band boys to add glamour and enlivened the historic occasion.

Addressing the mammoth crowd, the elated Chairman, appreciated God for seeing him through the thick and thin of the election process that culminated into his emergence as the Executive Chairman Of Ewekoro Local Government for the second term.

Hon Adesina, equally acknowledged the tireless efforts of the Ogun State Governor, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, on transformation of the State with the laudable achievements that were majorly responsible for the overwhelming victory of the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidates across the 20 Local Governments in the state in the recently concluded Local Government Elections.

He , also ,thanked the leaders of All Progressive Congress, both at the state and the Local Government levels for their unflinching support, before, during and after the elections.

" I want to appreciate the workforce of Ewekoro Local Government too, both junior and senior officers for your support and prayers at all times. God will continue to be with you and enlarge your coast.It is no longer a news , as we all know that we left the office about three months ago, but thank God, we are back live and direct,"-- he added.

The Chairman elect, emphasized that the developmental projects carried out in the first term in office would be a child's play, compare with what he has in stock for the second term .

" Our laudable achievements in the last three years formed part of the reasons you supported this administration this time around,i want to assure you that we will not rest on our oars , more impactful projects are still coming. By the grace of God with the support of our amiable Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, who is so much concerned about the development of Ogun State, has told us in clear terms, to ensure all round development in our various Local Government Areas,"--the Chairman concluded

Welcoming the Chairman on board again, the Head Of Local Government Administration, Ewekoro Local Government, Mrs Solomon Elizabeth A, commended Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa for changing the face of Ewekoro Local Government during his first term in office, while thanking him for the show of love to the workforce, promising the continuous loyalty of career officers to the present administration.

The highpoint of the event, was the official handing over of governance of Ewekoro Local Government to the newly sworn-in Chairman, Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa by the Head Of Local Government Administration, Mrs Solomon Elizabeth A.

Earlier, at the June 12 Cultural Center,Kuto, Abeokuta, on Monday , 18th Nov ., 2024 , venue of the swearing-in ceremony of the Local Government Chairmen and Vice Chairmen by the Ogun State Governor, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, who in his charge, enjoined the Chairmen to prioritize the welfare of the people and deliver on their campaign promises, while emphasizing the importance of good governance, accountability and prompt responsiveness to the needs of their constituents.
