Bloody Saturday For The Red Devils, Walloped 3--0 By Bournemouth As Harvey Elliot's Fine Strike Gives Liverpool Late Win

It was a black Saturday for Manchester United fans as their darling team was mercilessly spanked three goals to nill by the in form Bournemouth at Old Trafford.

The Red devils, starting the game on a good note with amazing interchange of passes in the opening minutes but against the run of play, the Cherries shocked the home fans in the 5th minute when United were caught napping, trying to play out from the back as Lewis Cook intercepted Bruno Fernandez's pass and sent a lovely through pass to Dominic Solanke who smartly slotted home the ball beyond Andre Onana.

After the goal, the Erik Ten Hag's men took the fight to Bournemouth's half but the Cherries were calm and well organized at the back line to put at bay the United attackers.

The Cherries completed the routing in the second half, in the 68th minute, the substitute, Philip Billing registered the second goal with a six yard finish while Marcos Senesi in the 73rd minute, added the third goal from a corner, forcing a number of United fans leaving the stadium before the end of an embarrassing defeat of the home side with boos by their teaming supporters.

With United losing for the sixth time at Old Trafford this season while it was the first ever victory for the Bournemouth against the Red devils at Old Trafford.

In another premier league fixture, at Selhurst Park, Crystal Palace were unlucky to have lost by a goal to two to the Jurgen Klopp's men.

Crystal palace were the better side for the most part of the  encounter.

Jean--Phillip Mateta opened the score sheet in the 57th minute with a well taken penalty that saw Crystal Palace taken the lead after Jean--Phillip was fouled by Jarel Quansah in the vital area.

It took Liverpool 76 minutes to register a shot on target as Mohamed Salah's shot was deflected home, scoring his 200th Liverpool goal. 

However, Harvey Elliot's fine strike in the added time (90+1) was all Liverpool needed to clinch victory at the expense of impressive but unlucky Crystal Palace.
