 By Olopade Sakiru
The Premier League delivered a fascinating Saturday of football, with seven matches producing 18 goals, several unexpected results and plenty of talking points for supporters.

Arsenal maintained their winning start away at Sunderland, while Ipswich Town produced one of the afternoon's biggest surprises by beating Crystal Palace.

Nottingham Forest also secured an important away victory at Aston Villa.

At the other end, Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur were all forced to settle for draws.

Here is  EPL Saturday review.
ASTON VILLA 1–2 NOTTINGHAM FOREST
Forest Silence Villa Park.
Nottingham Forest claimed a valuable 2–1 victory away to Aston Villa in a result that will boost the visitors' confidence.

Forest showed greater efficiency when important opportunities arrived, while Villa were unable to turn home advantage into three points.

The defeat adds to Villa's difficult start to the campaign and increases the pressure to find greater consistency in attack.

Forest showed character and efficiency when it mattered most.

BOURNEMOUTH 2–2 BRENTFORD
Bournemouth Surrender Lead Again as Brentford Fight Back.

Bournemouth and Brentford shared the points after an entertaining 2–2 draw.
Bournemouth will be disappointed not to have converted their opportunities into a victory, while Brentford once again demonstrated their ability to remain competitive until the final whistle.

The result keeps Brentford unbeaten and leaves Bournemouth still searching for their first league victory.

An entertaining contest, but Bournemouth will rue another missed opportunity to collect maximum points.

CHELSEA 2–2 HULL CITY
Hull Shock Chelsea with Stamford Bridge Draw
Chelsea were held to a 2–2 draw by Hull City in one of the day's biggest talking points.
Chelsea showed enough attacking quality to threaten the visitors, but defensive lapses allowed Hull to remain in the contest.

The home side eventually had to settle for a point.

Hull deserve considerable credit for their resilience and for refusing to be intimidated by the occasion.
The News

Chelsea have attacking quality, but their defensive organisation remains a major concern.

CRYSTAL PALACE 2–3 IPSWICH TOWN :
Ipswich Produce One of the Day's Biggest Shocks.
Ipswich Town secured a dramatic 3–2 victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

The match changed significantly after Palace were reduced to ten men, giving Ipswich an important advantage. The visitors maintained their pressure and eventually found the decisive moment to claim all three points.

For Palace, the defeat will be particularly frustrating given the circumstances. For Ipswich, it represents a major confidence boost.

Ipswich showed determination and made the most of crucial moments to earn a memorable away victory.
LIVERPOOL 0–0 FULHAM :
Fulham Frustrate Liverpool at Anfield
Liverpool were held to a goalless draw by Fulham in a disappointing result for the home side.

Liverpool enjoyed possession but struggled to create enough clear opportunities to break through a well-organised Fulham defence.

For Fulham, securing a point at Anfield represents an encouraging result, particularly after a difficult opening to the season.

Liverpool need greater creativity and cutting edge in the final third.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR 0–0 EVERTON :
Spurs' Goal Drought Continues as Everton Hold Firm
Tottenham's difficult start to the season continued with a 0–0 draw against Everton.
Spurs dominated periods of the game but once again failed to find the back of the net.

The result means Tottenham remain without a Premier League goal after their opening four matches, an unwanted club milestone.

Everton defended resolutely and earned a valuable point away from home.

The result will increase questions surrounding Tottenham's attacking creativity and their ability to turn possession into clear-cut chances.

Everton deserve credit for their defensive discipline, while Tottenham's inability to score has become a serious concern.

SUNDERLAND 0–2 ARSENAL :
Arsenal Maintain Perfect Start at Sunderland.
Arsenal completed another important victory on the road, defeating Sunderland 2–0 to maintain their perfect start to the campaign.

The Gunners had to deal with a competitive Sunderland side and showed the composure required to manage a difficult away fixture.
