OGUN @ 50 : EWEKORO LG CHAIRMAN,HON ADESINA SIKIRU CELEBRATES GATEWAY STATE'S GOLDEN JOURNEY

The Chairman of Ewekoro Local Government, Hon. Adesina Sikiru Adisa, has congratulated the Government and people of Ogun State as the state marks 50 years of existence, describing the milestone as a proud celebration of vision, resilience, and sustainable progress.

He recalled that since its creation in 1976, Ogun State has continued to justify its status as the Gateway State, making remarkable contributions to national development through education, industry, culture, and governance.

Hon. Adisa paid glowing tribute to the founding fathers of Ogun State, whose foresight, courage, and selfless service laid a solid foundation for unity, stability, and growth. 

He noted that their vision and sacrifices remain the bedrock upon which the state’s continuous advancement is built.

The Ewekoro Chairman noted that the golden jubilee is being celebrated at a time of renewed momentum under the leadership of Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, whose administration has accelerated development across key sectors of the state.

 According to him, the present administration’s achievements in road infrastructure, healthcare delivery, education, housing, security, and investment promotion have repositioned Ogun State as a leading destination for economic growth and social development.

Hon. Adisa further commended Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, for his inclusive, transparent, and people-oriented style of governance, which has strengthened public trust and promoted peace across the state.

He emphasized that the current administration’s strong collaboration with local governments has enhanced grassroots development, enabling councils like Ewekoro to effectively deliver meaningful projects and services to residents.

As Ogun State clocks 50, Hon. Adesina Sikiru Adisa congratulated the Governor, traditional rulers, stakeholders, and citizens, expressing confidence that under the leadership of Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, the Gateway State is firmly positioned for greater prosperity, unity, and sustainable development in the decades ahead.
