The Head of Local Government Administration (HOLGA), Ewekoro Local Government, Mrs. Ogunyewo Oluwakemi Mutiat, has on behalf of all council staff, extended heartfelt Christmas felicitations to the Executive Chairman, political functionaries, and career officers of the local government.
In her Christmas message, Mrs. Ogunyewo described the season as one that reflects the timeless virtues of love, humility, sacrifice, and peaceful coexistence, as demonstrated by the birth of Jesus Christ.
According to her, “Christmas reminds us of the need to live selflessly, promote peace, and strengthen unity within our workplaces and communities.”
The HOLGA commended the Executive Chairman for his exemplary leadership and administrative foresight, noting that his style of governance has continued to inspire cooperation and professionalism within the council.
“The commitment and vision of the Executive Chairman have created an enabling environment for effective service delivery and collective progress,” she stated.
Mrs. Ogunyewo also lauded the political functionaries for their support and collaborative approach to governance, stressing that their contributions have played a significant role in advancing the development objectives of the local government. She said, “The synergy between political office holders and career officers remains vital to the success of the present administration of Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa.”
She further applauded the dedication and resilience of career staff and council workers, acknowledging their consistent efforts in sustaining efficient administration at the grassroots.
“Our workforce remains the backbone of local governance, and their professionalism and loyalty deserve commendation,” the HOLGA noted.
She urged staff to use the festive season as a period of reflection and recommitment to public service values, emphasizing discipline, integrity, and teamwork.
“As we celebrate, we must also renew our resolve to serve the people diligently and uphold the ethics of the civil service,” she added.
Mrs. Ogunyewo concluded by wishing the Executive Chairman, political functionaries, career officers, and their families a peaceful Christmas celebration and a prosperous New Year, praying for good health, greater achievements, and sustained development for Ewekoro Local Government.
