....... Fermin , Raphinha and Lewandowski fire doubles as Valencia crumble in 6-0 humiliation

FC Barcelona delivered a devastating attacking performance on Sunday evening as they dismantled Valencia 6-0 in LaLiga, with three players grabbing braces in front of an electrified crowd at the Estadi Johan Cruyff.
Fermín López set the tone in the 29th minute, finishing a swift combination involving Pau Cubarsí and Ferran Torres. After the break, Raphinha doubled the lead with a close-range strike from Marcus Rashford’s assist, before Fermín returned with a thunderous long-range effort to make it 3-0.
Barcelona’s dominance continued as Raphinha volleyed home for his second in the 66th minute. Veteran striker Robert Lewandowski, coming on as a substitute, added two late goals in the 76th and 86th minutes, sealing the rout after a VAR review upheld his second strike.

Despite the absence of teenage sensation Lamine Yamal through injury, Barcelona looked sharp and ruthless, with Torres, Rashford, and debutant Roony Bardghji forming a lively frontline. Young midfielder Marc Bernal also marked his return from injury with an assist for Lewandowski.

Valencia, by contrast, struggled to impose themselves, offering little resistance in attack and faltering repeatedly in defence. Goalkeeper Julen Agirrezabala made several key saves but was ultimately overrun by the relentless Catalan attack.
The emphatic victory lifts Barcelona into second place in LaLiga with ten points from four matches, reinforcing their title credentials under head coach Hansi Flick, who hailed the result as a “perfect night” for his team.

For Valencia, the defeat is a sobering setback, leaving them searching for form and confidence in the weeks ahead.
