EMERGENCE OF EWEKORO LG NULGE EXCO VIA RATIFICATION

The Nigeria Union Of Local Government Employees, Ogun State, in a decisive and transparent move, has officially ratified a new Executive Council Of the Nigeria Union Of Employees, Ewekoro Local Government branch , to steer the affairs of the Union for the next three years.

This decision came, following consultations, due diligence and in line with the Union's constitution and transitional protocols.

The ratification process was adopted as an alternative to the usual election process due to consensus by stakeholders.

The ratification process was conducted by the State Executive Council Of NULGE, led by the State Secretary , Comrade Olayinka Hazan Yusuf in the presence of key stakeholders, including representative of the outgoing administration and observers, ensuring credibility and unity within the Union.

Speaking after the ratification, the newly inaugurated Chairman of NULGE, Ewekoro Local Government, Comrade Abdulsalam Ibrahim, pledged to uphold the values of the Union, promote the welfare of its members and work tirelessly towards achieving collective goals.

" We are not just assuming office, we are accepting responsibility. Our administration will be inclusive, transparent and committed to progress,"--- Comrade Abdulsalam stated.

The new Chairman, also thanked all members of the state EXCO of the Nigeria Union Of Local Government Employees, in particular, the state president, Comrade Adebayo Olufesobi for the support he received from him in the just concluded tenure.

He took seized the opportunity to express his appreciation to the Executive Chairman of Ewekoro Local Government, Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa who largely played a crucial role in the success of the emergence of the new NULGE EXCO.

Earlier, Comrade Adebayo Olufesobi, the Ogun State NULGE President who was represented by Comrade Fatai Akiode Feyisayo, the State Deputy President extended his appreciation to the Executive Chairman, Ewekoro Local Government, Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa for his unflinching and fatherly support to all the new EXCO.

" The Chairman's efforts in ensuring that the process of selection was free and fair. I want to confirm that the ratification process was very peaceful and the best in the history of Ewekoro Local Government,"-- Comrade Adefesobi emphasised.

In a related development, the new Young Workers Representative, Comrade Salami Kehinde Adebayo, appreciated the support, understanding of all members and stakeholders during the process, while encouraging them to continue to give the new EXCO maximum cooperation as the new leadership sets to work.
