EXCITEMENT AS HON.ADESINA PAYS '24 CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR BONUS TO EWEKORO LG WORKFORCE

...... Comrade Abdulsalam Ibrahim thumbs up Chairman, says Hon Adesina's welfare package is second to none.

It was excitement galore as members of staff of Ewekoro Local Government received 2024 Christmas/New Year bonus. 

From its inception, Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa led administration has not shied away from putting welfare of workers in the front burner.

According to the Executive Chairman, " It has been part of our vision,  which is to provide first class welfare to the workers and the good people of the council area. Workers are the engine room of any administration ."

" A responsible and responsive government must make workers happy, provide an enabling environment for them to operate in order for them to put in their best,"--the Chairman stated.

The Local Government boss, then , urged them to reciprocate his kind gesture by doing their best with utmost seriousness with genuine commitment , while charging staffs that are operating at various revenue points to exhibit thorough professionalism that would improve the Internally Generated Revenue of the council, so that Government could meet the yearnings of the electorates and the constituents.

In her reaction to the development, the Head Of Local Government Administration, Mrs Solomon Elizabeth A, thanked the Chairman for his magnanimity, even at this austere time, saying, " The bonus will be of economic support and succour for the staff."

While charging them to reciprocate with more commitments toward repositioning the revenue base with improved Internally Generated Revenue so that government could take care of other benefits as well as working towards accomplishing and realizing the Hon Adesina administration's targeted goals to improve the lives of the council citizens and in his efforts to making Ewekoro Local Government, a pride and destination of peoples choice.

In his swift reactions, the Chairman, Nigeria Union Of Local Government Employee, Ewekoro Local Government branch, Comrade Abdulsalam Ibrahim, on behalf of the council workforce, expressed his gratitude to the Chairman for the payment of 2024 Christmas / New Year bonus at a time the economic crunch is biting harder.

" Our Chairman is known for his kind heartedness, genuine love for us. This is not the first time  Hon Adesina will be putting smiles on our faces , since ever becoming the Executive Chairman of this Local Government, over three years now, my chairman has been paying Christmas/New Year bonus to workers."

" Infact, he was the first Chairman to pay bonus to workers in 2022/23 in all the 20 Local Governments in Ogun State before the other Local Government Chairmen follow suit. He is a trailblazer." 

Comrade Abdulsalam, therefore, assured the chairman and the management that staffers of the council will continue to work hard with top notch service delivery.
