Hon. Dr. Waliat Folasade Adeyemo's swearing-in as the newly elected Chairman of Odeda Local Government was a momentous occasion, marked by excitement and fanfare.
In her appreciation speech, the Council boss expressed her gratitude to the Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency,Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON , State Chairman of All Progressive Congress)APC) , Chief Yemi Sanusi, and other key figures for their support.
Hon Adeyemo outlined her vision for the GBAYI mantra, focusing on *Good Governance, Better and Improved Education, Affordable Health, Youth and Women Empowerment, and Infrastructure.
She pledged to continue working with this mantra, incorporating consultative governance to give stakeholders a voice in decision-making.
In his welcome address, the Head Of Local Government Administration,Dr. A.O. Adekoya warmly welcomed Hon Adeyemo to her exalted office, looking forward to her quality leadership, guided by fairness, inclusivity, and accountability.
Dr. Adekoya assured the Chairman of the career functionaries unwavering support and cooperation, while exchanging hand- over notes with the newly elected Chairman.
Meanwhile, Governor Abiodun, who swore in the newly elected 20 Chairmen of Local Governments in the State ,congratulated Hon Adeyemo and urged her to approach her responsibilities with vigor and purpose, upholding the party's vision by serving all citizens regardless of political affiliations.
