SANITARIAN BADEJOKO, DWES, EWEKORO LOCAL GOVERNMENT, BOWS OUT OF OGUN STATE LOCAL GOVERNMENT SERVICE MERITORIOUSLY

......... Dignitaries shower encomiums on retired Sanitarian Badejoko, a man of integrity.


All roads led to Ewekoro Local Government Headquarters, Itori as Sanitarian Badejoko Adelaja Taiwo, the Director of Water and Environmental Sanitation, Ewekoro Local Government, graciously bowed out  after 35 years of meritorious service in the Ogun State Local Government Service.

The magnificent pull out ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including top notch civil servants in the Ogun State Local Government Service, both serving and retired, alongside families, friends and well wishers.

The two -- phase event, commenced with the pull out ceremony, followed by a glamorous reception within the Local Government Secretariat, Itori.
Speaking, the Executive Chairman, Ewekoro Local Government, Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa, congratulated Sanitarian Badejoko on his retirement after serving in the Ogun State Local Government Service without any blemish for good thirty five years.

Describing the celebrant, Hon Adesina emphasized that Sanitarian Badejoko's dedication, leadership style and unwavering commitment to excellence which had in no small measure left an indelible mark on the countless lives whom he had impacted throughout his career.

" Sanitarian Badejoko is an excellent manager of human and capital resources, truthful, loyal officer who is not greedy. Honestly, i will miss him greatly." --The chairman stated.
He , then advised the retired Director of Water and Environmental Sanitation, to always rest and only engage in light activities to keep fit while charging the wife of the celebrant to take good care of his husband at this period better than before.

The Local Government boss, therefore, prayed that his retirement would not be the end of good things in his life.

Earlier, the Director of General Services and Administration, Mrs Ogunyewo Kemi, described Sanitarian Badejoko as an energetic, gentle, Godly and professionally grounded officer.

Speaking on behalf of the Director/Head of Departments, the Director of Community and Social Development, Mrs Olakanmi Bunmi, referred to Sanitarian Badejoko as a solution provider, loving and a community man to the core.
In his welcome address, the Deputy Director, Water and Environmental Sanitation Department, Sanitarian Adeyemi Solomon Olaniyi gave glory to Almighty God who had seen the celebrant through thick and thin during his service years.

Sanitarian Adeyemi, therefore, enjoined Sanitarian Badejoko not to leave the service of God, but to also keep on using the wealth of his experience to his est - while profession, community development and to equally contribute to the developmental programmes where necessary in the Local Government, State and Nigeria as a whole.

Other dignitaries in their goodwill messages unanimously spoke glowingly about the celebrant as a man of honour, integrity, and financial prudent with the knack for excellence.

Responding, the highly elated celebrant, Sanitarian Badejoko, gave glory to God for the safe landing from the Local Government Service and for the success of his pull out ceremony.

He expressed his gratitude on behalf of his family to the chairman, Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa and the entire management team of Ewekoro Local Government for their love, commitment and support during his service years.

" My heartfelt gratitude, also goes to the retired Sanitarian that prayed along with us, for their presence and love."

" To my school mates, professional colleagues and friends, i thank you all for your financial contribution and support."

Sanitarian Badejoko, also acknowledged those who worked with while in service and all members of the pull out committee, saying, " I sincerely thank you, you will all be celebrated in Jesus name.
The highlight of the event was the special parade by the environmental officers in honour of the retired Director of Water and Environmental Sanitation as well as the cutting of the retirement cake.
Sanitarian Badejoko Adelaja Taiwo was employed as a public health superintendent in April, 1989 by the Ogun State Government and posted to the then Egbado South Local Government, Ilaro.

He rose through the ranks to become the Director of Water and Environmental Sanitation in the Local Government Service.

The posting took him to work in all the three senatorial districts of the state .

He was also in acting capacity as the acting Head Of Local Government Administration at Ogun Waterside Local Government, Abigi, Yewa South Local Government, Ilaro, Imekon Afon and Ewekoro Local Government, Itori.

In recognition of his immeasurable and excellent contributions to the service of the Ogun State Local Government and communities, Sanitarian Badejoko had received many awards such as Odogbolu Local Government Best Area Officer, Cathedral Motivator, Family Of Inestimable Value and a host of others.
