HON (DR) ADEYEMO, ODEDA LG CHAIRMAN,LENDS SUPPORT FOR THE INDIGENTS IN THE COUNCIL AREA WITH CASH DONATION AND FOOD ITEMS

In furtherance of making the renewed hope agenda of the present administration in Odeda Local Government a huge success and have positive impact on the citizenry of the council area, the Executive Chairman of Odeda Local Government Area of Ogun State, Hon (Dr) Folasade Adeyemo has presented food items and cash to the indigent people of the council area.

The cash support of ten thousand naira each and variety of food items were distributed during the event that took place at the Local Government Secretariat, Odeda.

In her keynote Address,Hon.(Dr) Folasade Adeyemo appreciated the Ogun State Governor, His excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, for the love bestowed on the Local Government and also the emergence of the new Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly who happens to come from the Local Government .

According to the Local Government boss, it has become imperative to design a programme that will alleviate the suffering of the masses, most especially the indigents.

She disclosed that food items would be distributed to the indigents across the length and breadth of the ten wards of the council area, which according to her, is strictly for the impoverished and not well-to-do in the society, saying, "anything short of this, the purpose of the programme and all efforts will be in futility."

The party chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC), Odeda Local Government, Hon.Musulumi Saka ably represented by chief Olufemi Meshioye, the secretary of the party in his remarks, appreciated the council chairman for all her good deeds to elevate and improve the standard of living of the indegenes and residents of Odeda Local Government.

One of the beneficiaries from ward 7 obantoko,Mrs.Adeosun Oluwatosin, applauded the council boss, Hon.(Dr.) Folasade Adeyemo for always extending her love and kindness to the good people of odeda local government at all times.

Among dignitaries present were the vice chairman of the council, Hon.Nasir Adigun,the leader of the legislative council, Hon.Adeyemi Rotimi and all other legislative council members,secretary to the local government,Mr zaccheus Makinde,supervisors,Advisers,and consultants to the Chairman.
