AWARD : HON ADESINA BAGS AWARD OF EXCELLENCE, BECOMES GRAND PATRON OF BOYS AND GIRLS BRIGADE 

...........promises more dividends of democracy to the people of ewekoro local government.

In recognition of selfless service couple with the undaunting spirit to make Ewekoro Local Government the toast  of all and sundry through availability of efficient infrastructures, youth empowerment, qualitative education, standard and affordable health care services, the Executive Chairman of Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State, Hon. Adesina Sikiru Adisa has again bagged another award into his kitty.

The Local Government Boss who had earlier bagged several awards such as ICON OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT ADMINISTRATION by City Herald Magazine, BEST AND FOREMOST CHAIRMAN IN EWEKORO LOCAL GOVERNMENT by the Council of Baales, Ewekoro Local Government amongst other awards. 

However, it was the turn of the authority of All Saint's Church, Itori to recognise the immense contributions of Hon. Adesina Sikiru Adisa with an Award of Excellence as well as becoming the Grand patron of Boys and Girls Brigade of All Saint's Church, Itori, Ogun State.

In his reaction to the award, the awardee, Hon. Adesina Sikiru Adisa expressed his appreciation on the honour done unto him and promised not to rest on his oars in quest to move Ewekoro local government to an enviable height.  

    "I want to assure you that, I will work till my last day in office. Within the few years, this administration has put in place a lot of impactful projects that cut across the length and breadth of the council area."

The Chairman disclosed that there are some projects that have reached 90% completion which will soon be commissioned immediately after completion." 

He speaks further, " No doubt, these projects will definitely improve the economic status of the Local Government while the  standard of living of both indigenes and residents will surely witness a positive turn around."

Hon. Adesina, therefore, used the occasion to extend his gratitude to the Ogun State Governor, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, for the recent release of funds to all the twenty local governments in Ogun State, which had in no small measure enabled the chairman to embark on projects that allow the grassroot dwellers to feel the impact of the government.

He, also enjoined the sons and daughters of the council area, both at home and in diaspora to equally contribute their own quota to the development of Ewekoro Local Government, saying, "Government can not do it alone."

"Let me use this medium to call on the indigenes and residents of this council area to equally play their own role by remitting their   taxes, levies into the coffers of Ewekoro Local Government to enable the government do more in terms of projects and first class welfare package for the citizenry. "----- the Chairman concluded.
