ABEOKUTA NORTH LG : AYORINDE BEGINS ANOTHER ROUND OF IMPACTFUL AND DEVELOPMENTAL PROJECTS ACROSS THE COUNCIL AREA

In his quest to improve the standard of living of indigenes and residents of Abeokuta North Local Government, the Executive chairman, Prince Adebayo Abdulsalam Ayorinde, with passion and unrelenting commitment to his oath of office, has again initiated laudable capital - intensive projects within the Concil Area.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with the Information crew of the Local government recently, the council boss, emphasised that "It is only essential of this administration under my leadership, to complement the efforts of the Executive Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, in providing amongst others, a conducive atmosphere for Local economic growth and safeguard the lives of its Citizenry"
"The Governor has released funds to us,we therefore, must commit the funds into beneficial projects, which we have considered to be the pressing needs of our people." - - - - Prince Ayorinde stated.
In order to boost economic activities and unhindered inflow and outflow of Agricultural produce within the Local Government remote area, the council has commenced the grading of strategic roads for the use of the people.
The on-going grading of roads would be replicated in each of the sixteen (16) wards that comprises the Local Government Area.
Meanwhile, grading has commenced in Idiya road, Onisasa road, Abule-Ijaye along Alamala Barack, Sabo and Ile-Ise Awo while other proposed roads to be graded include Iberekodo/Akomoje road, Ago-Odo, Ajitadun road among others.
On social-cultural development, the Executive chairman has embarked on renovation of Olumo multi-purpose hall inside the Council Secretariat, which has been in deplorable state over the years.
Worthy of accolades, among other key projects currently being executed by Prince Adebayo Ayorinde - led administration, is the sinking of Solar Powered boreholes and construction of ventilated improved toilets in four (4) different locations within the Council Area, namely, Abeokuta North Local Government primary school, Akomoje, ST.James RCM primary school Keesan Orile, ST.John's RCM primary school, Lafenwa, as well as Local Government Area Office/Local Government Education Authority, Ita - Iyalode, Abeokuta.
Moreover, construction of Modern Health Facility is also on-going in Oke Ogun,Sabo Abeokuta.
To crown it all,the Local Government Secretariat is not left out,as the Executive chairman has embarked on the rehabilitation of Legislative block, renovation of both chairman's office and office complex in the Secretariat to ensure a work- friendly environment for the workforce.
The Executive chairman, Prince Adebayo Ayorinde, therefore, reassured that in spite of the stringent economy, his administration would do everything within financial reach in providing basic amenities, to as many communities as he could, stressing that all wards in the Local Government would feel the impact of democracy.
