Ewekoro Local Government Goes Agog As Hon Adesina Pays Christmas / New Year Bonus To Staffers Of The Council.

As the excitement is in the air and activities of the season are in  top gear, workers of the Ewekoro Local Government were full of praises of the council Chairman, Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa for the payment Christmas /New Year bonus at this crucial period of the economic crunch, describing it as a welcome development from the workers friendly Chairman.

Reacting to the kind gesture of the Executive Chairman, the Head Of Local Government Administration, Engineer Ayoade A. A., described Hon Adesina as a man with a large heart whose love for people is second to none.

According to the astute administrator, " Our Chairman is good, no doubt about it. We thank God for having him as our Chairman, he has been wonderful, humane, who puts welfare of workers in the front burner. Infact, Ewekoro Local Government is blessed and lucky to have Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa at the helms of affairs . "---- Engineer Ayoade stated.
He, therefore, implored members of staff to reciprocate the good gesture of the chairman with good conduct, more commitments and unalloyed support for the government policies.

Speaking with the News Tentacles, the Chairman of the Nigeria Union Of Local Government Employees, Ewekoro Local Government branch, Comrade Abdulsalam Ibrahim, on behalf of members of staff of Ewekoro Local Government, expressed his deepest appreciation to the Executive Chairman, Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa for his love for the workers and indeed the generality of the people of the council area
"  I want to publicly acknowledge the good deeds of our chairman, Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa, Eskay Lodu, who is a listening Chairman who never toy with anything that has to do with workers' welfare."

"  Hon Adesina is a trail blazer, in 2021, he was the first Chairman to pay Christmas /New Year bonus to workers in all the 20 Local Governments in Ogun State before other Local Governments followed suit. "---- The NULGE Chairman stated emphatically.

Comrade Abdulsalam, equally appreciated the Head Of Local Government Administration, Ewekoro Local Government, Engineer Ayoade A. A. for his fatherly role and acumen in coordinating the affairs of the Local Government, most especially, staff matters.

In his own reaction, the Executive Chairman, Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa, speaking in his office, stated that payment of Christmas /New Year bonus is meant to appreciate the workforce for their diligence and unflinching support for his administration in the year 2023 while to also motivate them to work harder in the coming year, 2024
" There can never be a better time than this time to appreciate our people, whom i always refer to as engine room of any government and i must confess, they have been wonderful and very loyal to this administration in all ramifications." - - - - the Chairman said.

Meanwhile, the Local Government boss has enjoined both residents and indigenes of Ewekoro Local Government to celebrate Christmas /New Year moderately by being mindful of the economic implications of their celebration and not to get carried away by the euphoria of the season while warning  them to adhere strictly to all traffic rules and regulations during and after Christmas /New Year celebration to avoid any ugly incidence that could mar the joy of the celebration, adding, " It only  the living that celebrates". 

" Maintain safe speed because too much speed kills, so be careful. You should know that it is illegal to receive or make calls while behind the wheels, regardless of any form of wireless gadget used for such communication." - - - - he cautioned. 
He assured people of his continual developmental projects that will cut across the length and breadth of the council area. 

" I will make sure that our people enjoy more dividends of democracy in terms of more infrastructures, qualitative education, good health care delivery amongst other goodies." 

He stressed the need for the residents and indigenes of the council area to endeavour to remit their taxes, levies into the coffers of the Local Government to enable government make its impact felt.
