CIGACOM GRADUATES 10 , CHARGES GRADUANDS TO DEPLOY BIBLICAL KNOWLEDGE FOR GROWTH OF CHRISTENDOM

 By Olopade Sakiru

The Christ International Gospel Apostolic College of Ministry (CIGACOM) has charged its graduands to put the biblical knowledge acquired during their training into practice to promote the growth, expansion and spiritual advancement of Christendom.
The charge was given by the General Overseer of Christ International Gospel Apostolic Church and Mother in Israel, Lady Evangelist Grace Aladesanmi Aladejimokun, who was represented by Pastor Aladeniyi Aladejimokun at the college's 29th graduation ceremony held on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the church premises in Asero, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

A total of 10 students graduated from the college at the ceremony, comprising four Certificate and six Diploma graduands, following the successful completion of their respective programmes during the 2026 academic session.
Congratulating the graduands on their achievements, Lady Evangelist Aladejimokun commended them for taking advantage of the opportunity offered by the college to deepen their understanding of the Bible and strengthen their preparedness for Christian service.

She praised their commitment to the pursuit of biblical knowledge, noting that the time, effort and resources invested in their studies should translate into meaningful contributions to the church and society.

The General Overseer urged the graduands to apply the knowledge acquired during their training with humility, dedication and a strong sense of responsibility, stressing that graduation should mark the beginning of a greater commitment to the work of God.
She also encouraged them to pursue further studies to broaden their knowledge and improve their effectiveness in ministry.

"You should also try to seek for more knowledge through higher studies in Diploma and Degree courses as it may be appropriate," she advised.

Lady Evangelist Aladejimokun equally encouraged members of the church who were yet to enrol in the college to take advantage of its programmes, describing biblical education as an avenue for strengthening their Christian lives and deepening their understanding of God's Word.

She expressed appreciation to the management of the institution, particularly the lecturers, for their dedication, diligence and contributions to the successful training of the students.
She also acknowledged the members of Christ International Gospel Apostolic Church for their prayers and support for the college, expressing gratitude to invited guests for honouring the occasion with their presence.

The General Overseer prayed for God's continued blessings and upliftment upon all those who contributed to the success of the ceremony.
Earlier in his welcome address, Deacon Ayoola Oladipupo described the occasion as another significant milestone in the history of Christ International Gospel Apostolic College of Ministry.
He disclosed that the institution, established in 1997 by Prophet (Dr.) Daniel Aladesanmi Aladejimokun, was founded to impart biblical knowledge to people across different races, tribes, sexes and Christian denominations.

According to him, the college has remained committed to its vision of equipping people with the knowledge of the Bible and preparing them for effective Christian living and service.

Speaking on behalf of the college management, Deacon Oladipupo expressed appreciation to Lady Evangelist Grace Aladesanmi Aladejimokun, the Mother in Israel, for her continued moral and spiritual support for the institution.

He also thanked the entire membership of Christ International Gospel Apostolic Church for providing the college with the opportunity to extend the reach of biblical knowledge to humanity.

He further expressed gratitude to God for the life and vision of the founder, Prophet (Dr.) Daniel Aladesanmi Aladejimokun, whose initiative led to the establishment of the institution.
Giving a report on the academic performance of the graduands during the 2026 session, Pastor Solomon Oladipo , disclosed that the students participated in 42 training sessions conducted on Saturdays between 8:00 a.m. and 12 noon.

The training programme was designed to provide the students with foundational and specialised knowledge relevant to Christian ministry, church administration, leadership and biblical interpretation.

For the Certificate programme, the students received instruction in 20 major areas, including Evangelism, Etiquette, Women in the Ministry, Homiletics, Sunday School Management, Ministerial Communication and Bible Survey, among others.

The Diploma programme covered 22 major lecture areas, including Pastoral Theology, the Life of Jesus, Leadership, Church Growth, Daniel and Revelation, and Angelology.
According to the academic report, the students demonstrated punctuality and diligence throughout the training period.

They also performed above average in their continuous assessments and final examinations, which were conducted in September 2026.

The graduation of the 10 students marked the culmination of their training during the 2026 academic session, with four receiving certificates and six completing the Diploma programme.
In the sermon, Pastor Abraham Idosa emphasised the importance of acquiring greater knowledge as a foundation for excellence in ministry and other areas of life.
Speaking on the topic, "To Have More Knowledge," with his text drawn from 2 Timothy 3:16–17, the cleric stressed that knowledge is essential for personal development, effective Christian service and the fulfilment of God's purpose.
Pastor Idosa noted that Christians must not be content with the level of knowledge they have already acquired but should continually seek a deeper understanding of God's Word in order to grow spiritually .

He encouraged the graduands to regard their graduation not as the end of their learning journey but as the beginning of a greater responsibility to study God's Word, improve their ministerial competence and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of the Gospel.

The ceremony featured the presentation of certificates to the graduands in recognition of their successful completion of their respective programmes.
Gifts were also presented to students in both the Certificate and Diploma classes, as well as to the lecturers, by Mrs Kehinde Odunfa, in appreciation of their efforts and contributions.

Other highlights of the occasion included a drama ministration and special prayers for the graduands, offered by Pastor Sowale.
The event brought together church leaders, college management, lecturers, graduands, invited guests and members of the church to celebrate the academic achievements of the students and encourage their continued growth in biblical knowledge and Christian service.
