GOD IS ABLE COVENANT MISSION TURNS SUNDAY SERVICE INTO A FESTIVAL OF PRAISE AS MEMBERS DANCE IN GRATITUDE TO GOD

It was an atmosphere of overwhelming joy, worship and thanksgiving at God Is Able Covenant Mission Inc. on Sunday, as the church turned its service into a powerful celebration of God’s goodness, faithfulness and mighty works through an electrifying session of praise and worship.

The atmosphere was charged with spiritual fervour as worshippers lifted their voices and hearts in appreciation to God.

The service reflected the words of Psalm 100:1-2, which says: “Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.” In that spirit, members of the church sang, clapped, danced and celebrated the goodness of God, creating an atmosphere filled with joy and thanksgiving.

The church choir led the congregation in powerful praise and worship, rendering melodious and energetic songs that stirred the hearts of worshippers.

Adding a remarkable dimension to the praise session was the Guest Artist, Bro. Emmanuel Adepoju, popularly known as “ELENU ARA,” who is renowned for his extraordinary ability to use his mouth to reproduce the sound of a saxophone. His unusual display of God-given talent took the congregation to a higher realm of worship, leaving members thrilled and deeply inspired as they celebrated the awesome power and creativity of God.

Before the commencement of the special Sunday of Praise, the General Overseer of God Is Able Covenant Mission Inc., Apostle P.O. Adeniji, charged members to praise God with all their hearts, regardless of the challenges or circumstances they might have brought into the church that morning.

Apostle Adeniji assured the congregation that God remains greater than every challenge, declaring that whatever difficulty they had brought before God would disappear as they engaged Him in genuine praise.

He encouraged members to praise God with faith and expectation, believing that their testimonies would replace their troubles.

The General Overseer’s charge resonated with the biblical declaration in 2 Chronicles 20:22: “And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir.”

The scripture became a powerful reminder to the congregation that praise can precede divine intervention and victory.

Responding to the exhortation, the congregation erupted in joyful praise. Men, women, youths and children danced enthusiastically as the church auditorium became a centre of celebration.

The worshippers demonstrated their gratitude for God’s protection, provision, mercy and faithfulness throughout their lives and families.

The service also brought to life the words of Psalm 34:1, “I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.”

The congregation demonstrated that praise is not merely an expression reserved for moments of celebration, but a lifestyle of acknowledging God even in the face of life's challenges

As the praise session continued, the atmosphere remained electrifying, with the choir, Guest Artist and congregation moving in one accord.

The celebration reflected the assurance contained in Isaiah 43:19: “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth.” Worshippers expressed renewed faith that God would usher them into new testimonies and greater experiences of His goodness.

The Sunday of Praise ultimately became a memorable celebration of faith, thanksgiving and hope. As members departed with renewed strength and joy, the message from the service remained clear: when believers place their challenges before God and lift their hearts in sincere praise, they can trust in His power to turn situations around.
