The Ogun State Local Government Service Commission wishes to inform the general public, invited dignitaries, local government officials, and all stakeholders of a change in venue for the Public Lecture scheduled as part of the activities marking the 2025 Local Government Service Week.
The lecture, originally slated to hold at the Obas’ Complex, Governor’s Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, will now take place at the Crescent Muslim Professionals Hall, Leme, Abeokuta.
Please note that the date remains Wednesday, 12th November, 2025, and all other arrangements for the event remain unchanged.
This adjustment in venue has become necessary due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of the Commission. However, the Commission remains fully committed to ensuring a seamless and successful event that reflects the significance and ideals of the Local Government Service Week.
The Public Lecture is one of the major highlights of the celebration, bringing together key stakeholders in local governance, public administration experts, and development practitioners to deliberate on critical issues affecting effective service delivery at the grassroots level.
It also provides a platform for capacity building, professional interaction, and recognition of excellence within the Ogun State Local Government system.
The Commission sincerely regrets any inconvenience the change of venue may cause and appreciates the understanding and cooperation of all participants and guests. Everyone is kindly enjoined to take note of the new venue and attend punctually as scheduled.
Furthermore, all other arrangements regarding the Service Week’s programmes and activities remain unchanged.
