Ewekoro LG Staff Present Best LG Trophy to Chairman, Celebrate Landmark Achievement

The atmosphere at the Ewekoro Local Government Secretariat was filled with excitement as the  Acting Head Of Local Government Administration, Directors/ Heads of various Departments, members of staff  warmly received the Executive Chairman, Hon. Adesina Sikiru Adisa, presenting to him the prestigious trophy won as the 2025 Best Local Government in Ogun State ,  during the just-concluded Local Government Service Week organized by the Ogun State Local Government Service Commission.

The celebration marked a defining moment for the council, which outperformed 19 other local governments across the state to clinch the coveted honour. Staff members, led by management officials, marched proudly to welcome the chairman, expressing joy and solidarity in the shared success.

In his remarks, Hon. Adesina expressed heartfelt appreciation to the entire workforce of Ewekoro Local Government, commending their discipline, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to duty, which he described as the backbone of the administration’s achievements.

He noted that the award did not come by accident, but through a combination of teamwork, focus, and dedication from both the political leadership and the career officers who worked tirelessly to elevate the council’s service delivery standards.

The chairman further applauded the heads of departments and units for providing effective supervision and ensuring that operations across all sectors of the local government aligned with the administration’s development agenda.

While acknowledging the role of political officeholders, Hon. Adesina praised the cordial relationship that exists between the political functionaries and career staff in Ewekoro, describing it as a major factor in the council’s stability and outstanding performance.

He stressed that harmony within the administrative structure remains a priority of his leadership, as it enhances productivity and fosters an environment where innovation and excellence can thrive.

Hon. Adesina also used the occasion to reaffirm his commitment to sustaining the momentum of progress, promising that the administration would continue to initiate and complete people-oriented projects that reflect the aspirations of the communities in Ewekoro.

The presentation of the trophy concluded with jubilation among staff, who pledged their continued loyalty and readiness to work with the chairman to achieve even greater milestones in the years ahead.
