It was an atmosphere of joy and heartfelt celebration at the Ewekoro Local Government Secretariat as the Vice Chairman, Alhaja Nurat Abisola Aliyu, marked her birthday in an ecstatic gathering that brought together political functionaries and members of staff.
The colourful event, held at the Council’s Conference Room, was organized by the management of the Local Government in honour of the Vice Chairman, whose exemplary leadership qualities and warm personality have endeared her to colleagues and subordinates alike.
In his remarks, the Executive Chairman, Ewekoro Local Government, Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa, described the celebrant as a " dependable ally and pillar of support whose dedication and loyalty have greatly contributed to the success of this administration"
He added that the cordial working relationship between the two offices continues to serve as a model of team work and leadership harmony
In their separate goodwill messages, the Leader of the Legislative Council, Hon Abiola Kehinde Muheeb, the Honourable Councillor, representing Obada Ward, Hon. Olukunle Olayinka Ayinla, the Acting Head of Local Government Administration, Sanitarian Ige Samuel, the Director of General Services and Administration, Mr. Anigboro Daniel 'Wole Dr and the Director of Finance and Supplies , Alhaja Taiwo Basirat, all spoke glowingly about the celebrant, describing her as large-hearted, humble, accommodating, and radiant.
They commended her unwavering support for the Executive Chairman, noting that the synergy between the two leaders has significantly enhanced the performance and stability of the present administration. According to them, Ewekoro has been blessed with a rare partnership at the helm of affairs—one built on mutual respect and cooperation, unlike what is often observed in some other Local Governments.
In her response, the visibly elated Vice Chairman, Alhaja Nurat Abiola Aliyu [ expressed profound gratitude to God, the Chairman, management, and staff for the honour accorded her. “I feel deeply humbled by this show of love and appreciation. It is a privilege to serve alongside a visionary leader and a team that truly understands the value of unity and cooperation. Together, we will continue to move Ewekoro forward,” she said.
The event also featured a solemn prayer session conducted in both Islamic and Christian ways, symbolizing unity, faith, and gratitude.
