Hon.Adesina Calls For More Support, Cooperation As Ewekoro LG Workforce Holds Interdenominational Prayer Session To Commence Year 2025 Activities

.......as Head Of Local Government Administration, Mrs Solomon Elizabeth tasks council workforce on efficient service delivery and maximal cooperation for Hon.Adesina led administration in 2025.

The Ewekoro Local Government staffs have been called upon to give more support and continued exhibition of high sense of professionalism in the discharge of their duties in the year 2025.

The Executive Chairman Of Ewekoro Local Government, Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa, who spoke through the Vice Chairman, Alhaja Abisola Nurat Aliyu made the call during the Interdenominational Prayer Session to commence year 2025 activities.

The event which was organized by the management in conjunction with the Nigeria Union Of Local Government Employees, Ewekoro branch was held at the  Local Government Headquarters, Itori.

Stressing that the entire Workforce are part of the major stakeholders in Ewekoro Local Government, saying, " It's not about Eskay/ Aliyu alone but all hands must be on deck to ensure the success of this administration,"--- the Chairman stated.

" Ewekoro is notable for its excellence and we can not accept anything less",--- he added.

Hon Adesina, therefore,seized the opportunity to appreciate the Ogun State Governor, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, for his support and fatherly role, while acknowledging the transformative efforts of the present administration of the Ogun State Governor in turning the state into an industrial hub of Nigeria.

He also extended his gratitude to the Head Of Local Government Administration, Mrs Solomon Elizabeth A, for her managerial acumen.

" Our HOLGA , she is a mother, humble and professional to the core ."

In her own remarks, the Head Of Local Government Administration, Mrs Solomon Elizabeth A, was full of appreciation to the Almighty God for sparing the lives of everyone in the thick and thin.

" We thank God that help us to sail through last year to the new year 2025."

While calling on the members of staff to display competence, integrity and emotional intelligence in the course of carrying out their duties.

" All the revenue collectors and everybody, let's work hard to improve the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) of the council, so that Hon Adesina led administration can be able to accomplish its vision and fulfill the electoral promises to the people of Ewekoro Local Government,"--- she said.

Equally, speaking at the spirit filled event, the Director Of General Services and Administration, Mr.Anigboro Daniel W, expressed his delight and appreciation to God, adding," Nothing is too much to appreciate God who spared our lives to be among  the living "

" I read a book, analysing the death toll in the ended year, it was stated in the book that the period between January and April, recorded the highest number of deaths but by the grace of God, we able to end the dreaded 2024 unhurt. No doubt, God deserves our special appreciation."

The astute administrator, therefore, enjoined members of staff to be industrious in the discharge of their duties.

" Let's be diligent, we should know that, whatever we don't sweat for, we don't value it and remember good things do not  come easy and not rely on the phrase, getting things on a silver  platter."

Mr. Anigboro, therefore, advised staffs to work towards their new year resolutions without losing focus but rather remain resolute in the pursuit of their new year resolutions, while declaring 2025 as the year of uncommon blessings for all and sundry.

The highpoint of the event was the prayer session, in both Islamic and Christianity ways as conducted by Pastor (Mrs)Funmilayo kole Cole and Sheik Amad Farike, Chief Imam of Jaguna Mosque, Itori.
