IFO LG CHAIRMAN, HON.KUSIMO ASSURES FULFILMENT OF CAMPAIGN PROMISES

The Executive Chairman, Ifo Local Government, Ogun State, Hon. Idris Kusimo, has assured of  his commitment to fulfilling his campaign promises to the people of the Council Area. 

Hon. Kusimo gave the assurance at an inauguration party held on Thursday 21st November, 2024 at the Council's Secretariat to appreciate his political leaders, APC members and the general public for electing him and supporting him during the just concluded local government elections, Hon. Kusimo expressed his gratitude and pledged to work tirelessly to deliver on his promises.
It will be recalled that Hon. Kusimo was declared the elected Chairman of Ifo Local Government by the Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission at the local government elections held on Saturday 16th November, 2024 by polling 26,450 votes to beat the other contenders and was subsequently sworn in on Monday November 18th, 2024. 
Speaking with the press at the event, the Council helmsman said that his administration will prioritize the welfare and development of the people. 

His words : "We will focus on improving infrastructure, healthcare, education, and economic empowerment. I am committed to making Ifo Local Government a model of excellence in Ogun State,"--- the chairman reaffirmed.
He  promised to do this in line with the building our future together mantra of His, Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun CON, the Executive Governor of Ogun State. 

Hon. Kusimo's inauguration marks a new era of leadership in Ifo Local Government, and his administration is expected to bring about positive changes in the lives of the people.
Dignitaries at the event include, Hon. Fola Salami, representing Ifo Constituency II in the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Adijat Adeleye, the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Ogun State, Barr. Olumide Oduwole, APC party Chairman, Ifo Local Government, Hon. Chief (Mrs.) Kikelomo Delano, immediate past Executive Chairman, Ifo Local Government, Aare Tunde Alabi and Chief Derin Adebiyi. Others include Hon. Ganiy Oyedeji, Hon. Moruf Paramole, Chief Taiwo Muraina, Hon. Olanrewaju Adeleye, former Leader of the House, Mr. Fatai Ogundele, the Head of Local Government Administration amongst many other dignitaries.
