ALAPERU TO CONFER YEYE LAFIN'S CHIEFTAINCY TITLE ON KEHINDE FAYOMI

The Alaperu of Iperu Remo, His Royal Highness, Oba Adeleke Adelekan IDOWU-BASIBO (Odoru V), will tomorrow, Friday, 29th November, 2024, confer the chieftaincy title of Yeye Lafin of Iperu Akesanland on Chief (Mrs.) Kehnde Adenike FAYOMI.

The event, which forms part of the week-long 2024 Akesan Day Celebration, holds at the palace of the royal father, commencing by 2pm.

Guests will thereafter be entertained at the Ajadeh Events Centre,  Iperu.
Born into the family of Chief Talubi OSINOWO in Aiyegbami quarters, Iperu Remo, the new Yeye Lafin had her primary and secondary education at the St. James' Anglican Primary School, Iperu Remo, and Akesan Community Grammar, also in Iperu Remo.

A successful entrepreneur, Kehinde Adenike FAYOMI is into Catering and general merchandising. 
Her unwavering love and passion for her native community, respect for royalty, and her deep regard for the traditional institution, earned her the new title of Yeye Lafin.

A great team player, and community development enthusiast, FAYOMI served on the 2024 Ojude Oba Iperu Planning Committee, and was indeed an active member of the Entertainment, Social and Logistics Sub-committee, and her strong presence and participation was no doubt instrumental to the success of the memorable event.

Expected at the installation ceremony are members of the 2024 Ojude Oba Iperu Planning Committee, including the Chairman, Otunba Taiwo OYEBANJO; and  the Vice Chairman, Otunba Denny Ibrahim OLADIPUPO; 

Congratulations to the Yeye Lafin and wishing her all the best as she continue in her selfless service to her homeland and humanity in general.
