MISSION SOCCER ACADEMY EMERGES 2024 OGUN FA/ Bet9Ja U-19 CHAMPIONS,PIPS IMISIOLUWA FC 1-0

..... As Coach Ajayi seeks for financial support for the team from well meaning individual and corporate organisations as the team is set  to excel in the playoff  of the Nationwide League One.

Mission Soccer Academy of Abeokuta, popularly known as Max-Lino boys has emerged as the champions of the 2024 Ogun FA/ Bet9Ja U-19 Competition, after beating hard fighting Imisioluwa FC by one goal to nothing at the Sagamu International Stadium.

The keenly contested final encounter saw both teams engaging in an end-to-end actions.

However, the goal that separated the two sides was recorded in the 13th minute by Mission's enterprising leather striker,  Ojo Rasheed.

Imisioluwa boys made spirited efforts to level scores but the Mission Soccer Academy defence was resolute with goalkeeper Akinlade Jamal, making daring saves to keep a clean sheet to earn Max-Lino boys the coveted trophy.

As part of the activities to mark the event was the presentation of awards to 22 dignitaries for their immense contributions to Ogun State football over the years.

In his remarks, the chairman of the Ogun State Football Association and NFF Executive Board Member, representing South West, Alhaji Majekodunmi Ganiyu , appreciated individual and corporate organisations who have been partnering the FA , most especially with the huge success recorded in the 2024 Ogun FA/Bet9Ja U-19 League.

Alhaji Majekodunmi, emphasized the enormous impact of the sport on the societies, stating that football is not just an ordinary game but a veritable tool to build communities, nurture raw talents to stardom as well as creating opportunities for the youths .

The highlight of the  event was the presentation of the coveted trophy to the newly crowned champions, Mission Soccer Academy,( Max-Lino boys).

The Max-Lino boys maintained 100percent record of unbeaten run throughout the competition while the team, also won individual awards with Ojo Rasheed as the highest goal scorer with 8 goals while Akinlade Jamal was the man of the match in the final game.

Speaking with the journalists after the final game, the Mission Soccer Academy gaffer, the elated Coach Ajayi Monsuru expressed his gratitude to the Almighty God for the success achieved by his team, while also showing appreciation to the team manager, Max-Lino Dolapo for the unflinching support for the team at all times.

" I can not but appreciate my players for their heroic performance. Now that we have won the 2024 OgunFA/ Bet9Ja U-19 LEAGUE,  our focus is to represent the state well at the play off,"- coach Ajayi stated.

" Mission Soccer Academy is blessed with talented players but what we need presently is financial support from both individual and corporate organisations because we will need huge money to prosecute matches which include transportation,kits and accomodation as the team will be traveling for away matches."

" So i am using this opportunity to appeal to people to come to our aid in terms of finance as the manager of the team, Max-Lino Dolapo is ready to welcome sponsors  or whoever that wants to partner with the team."

Mission Soccer Academy will represent Ogun State in the play off of the Nationwide League One.( NLO).
