Manchester City became the first ever male team to have won the English Premier League  four times in a row with the 3-1 spanking of West Ham United on league final day at Etihad.

Pep Guardiola's men left no one in doubt as to  their  determination to clinch the record fourth time premier league title, with just 79 seconds to register the first goal through the premier league player of the season, Phil Foden with an amazing strike.

In the 18th minute, Phil Foden was on song again, connecting Jeremy Doku's pin point cross to register City's second goal of the day.

However, just before the break, Mohammed Kudus pulled a goal with a stunning scissors kick before Rodrigo finished up with the third goal to restore City's two-goal lead , early in the second half.

What could have been the second goal for West Ham United by Tomas Soucek was ruled out by VAR after it was discovered that Tomas had touched the ball before putting the ball in the back of the net.

Manchester City ended the premier league unbeaten at Etihad throughout the campaign.

However, the story was not the same for Arsenal, with Gunners fans hoping that Manchester City will slip at Etihad but it was a dream that did not come true.

Though, Mikel Arteta's men defeated Everton by 2-1 but not enough to turn the table against Manchester City, losing English Premier League title for a second season in a row to Manchester City.

However, due to the FA CUP Final which Manchester United will be taking part, the European places are yet not finalized.

If Manchester United wins FA CUP , they will go into Europa League while Chelsea will go into conference league but if Manchester City wins Chelsea will go into Europa League alongside Tottenham Hotspur that had already secured their place for Europa League while Newcastle United will go into Conference league.
