HON. MUDASHIR ENDS YEAR 2023 WITH LAUDABLE PROJECTS SPRUNG UP ACROSS OGUN WATERSIDE.

The Executive Chairman, Ogun Waterside Local Government, Hon. Mudashir Abdul-Lateef Adekunle has given the people of his Council area lots of dividends of democracy in form of numerous projects across the local government as an end of the year package.
The projects, ranging from the patching as well as clearing of both sizes of the road verges from J4 junction down to Iwopin which hitherto will ease vehicular movement, reduction in the rates of accident, and insecurity amongst many other vices in that corridor during the Yuletide season and beyond.
Another landslide achievement recorded was the first project he embarked on resumption of office which was the renovation of the Administrative building, Executive Chairman's office and that of the Legislative Chamber which has been in the comatose with the provision of ultra modern furniture to make the legislative proceedings more convenient and in order to create a conducive atmosphere for official duties, having noticed that the condition of service needed to be improved upon.
The renovation of a block of three classrooms at the Community Primary School, Iwopin can not be overlooked.
The hardworking Local Government boss, also procured (45) Hospital Beddings to ameliorate the suffering of the people.
He also renovated the only Grader in a bid to make the grading of Rural roads across the Ten (10) Wards of the Council area during the last year's dry season to make movement of goods and services more easier, this kind gesture, he had started again this year respectively.
Most of these projects came at the right time as people from other parts of the country will come home to witness first hand achievements of the local government by Hon. Mudashir led Administration.
In the new year, the St Mathias Primary School, Ilusin, the entire Local Government Secretariat and the Health Centre in Ita Ogun, along Ibiade will wear new look courtesy of the present regime.
The Supervisor for Works and Housing in the local government, Hon. Ogunfuyi Omolara while fielding questions from the Journalists who visited the Council Secretariat said in about eight months ago, owing to the activities of desecrated elements who carted away High Tension Cables that brought energy to the entire people of the local government, the Chairman magnanimously procured and installed (120) pieces of Solar Powered Streetlight with Galvanized Pipes which each ward received (10) pieces in his aim to illuminate everywhere.
As if that is not enough, and considering the result achieved through such singular efforts in the first phase, he has procured yet another (500) units of Solar lights with poles to be installed across the local government.
Knowing fully that power supply has been a major challenge to the local government for decades and with this newly purchased solar street lights, the nooks and crannies of each ward is expected to be brightened at night. Gone are the days when we walk through the streets of Waterside in darkness while our people coming home for festivity can as well feel sigh of relief during their short stay.
Meanwhile, Speaking at a meeting with Transportation Union Executives, the local government boss advised and pleaded with drivers to drive safely during this time of the year because of the weather conditions caused by the harmattan season while wishing all Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year in advance.
